PAC TRANSPARENCY STATEMENT

POLICE AND SHERIFFS UNITED PAC is a non-party political organization (not a charity) established and regulated under Section 527 of the federal tax code. Our mission is to raise awareness about law enforcement legislation and encourage people to elect candidates who will support these issues. We aim to achieve this through various efforts, including (but not limited to) telephone outreach, direct mail, and digital marketing campaigns.

Our calling campaign is designed to inform and empower individuals, helping them make their voices heard and elect leaders who advocate for policy changes that benefit the law enforcement community. We hire professional contractors to help us achieve our goals, and these contractors may sometimes use sub-contractors to streamline costs and administrative tasks.

We strive to be transparent about our financial practices and how funds are allocated within our organization. When you contribute, please note that a minimum of 90 cents of every dollar will be used to cover fundraising costs and outreach efforts. These costs may include essential expenses such as telephone outreach, printing, postage, mail processing services, courier services, accounting, and other operational necessities required for a successful campaign.

By dedicating a significant portion of each contribution to fundraising, we can broaden our reach, raise awareness about our mission, and secure the resources needed to fulfill our objectives. While we work to keep these costs as low as possible, fundraising is critical to sustaining our organization and enabling us to have a lasting impact.

As an IRS 527 Political Organization, POLICE AND SHERIFFS UNITED PAC focuses on advocating for the needs of law enforcement officers by informing voters and encouraging them to take action. This is our sole purpose: we do not provide financial support to individuals or law enforcement organizations, as we are not a charity. We also do not provide funding to or directly coordinate with any candidates or elected officials, as doing so could violate laws restricting contributions from incorporated entities. Contributions to our organization are not tax-deductible for federal or state income tax purposes.

If you ever wish to request a refund, please send us a copy of the canceled check or proof of credit card charge, and we will promptly process your request. We are committed to handling refund requests immediately, ensuring that you have complete confidence and control over your contribution.

Contributions to the organization are not deductible for federal or state income tax purposes as charitable contributions. Not printed at government expense. A large portion of the contributions given to our organization are used to help offset the costs associated with fundraising.
